Although, I heard some random wives' tale that if you wear super-tight panties around your belly that your belly shrinks faster after giving birth. Maybe you could test that theory out!Elainahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12024131764111112826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7774366165848019418.post-48338425006789144452008-06-17T18:26:00.000-07:002008-06-17T18:26:00.000-07:00Hey Julie ... one of the things I most wish I'd do...Hey Julie ... one of the things I most wish I'd done when my son was born (and my daughter was 3) was take time off and just be with both of them. Not worry so much about all the other people or doing all the stuff, but just hang out with them and be. So ... I know how frustrated you are being laid up, but once you recuperated from the pain part ... stay with them and hang out. Be in the bubble for a while. Bring the bubble back from time to time. Getting to know those little people is the most fascinating and wonderful part of being a mom.

I hope the pain subsides quickly though and that Emma understands as much as she can.

What a wonderful time these next couple of weeks are. They're magical in some way ... or maybe it's just sleep deprivation ;-)Sonja Andrewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13164796660137641599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7774366165848019418.post-55082580052214684062008-06-17T17:41:00.000-07:002008-06-17T17:41:00.000-07:00I'd forgotten about the C-section granny panties. ...I'd forgotten about the C-section granny panties. Definitely an essential clothing item after a bikini cut C section.

I'm glad everything went well for Aidan. I hope your C-section recovery continues to go smoothly. And you have the help you need so you don't have to push yourself too hard while you recover.Helenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03605999794188527973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7774366165848019418.post-46652058632539208002008-06-17T16:11:00.000-07:002008-06-17T16:11:00.000-07:00Dear Julie, I had a bit of trauma with the birth o...Dear Julie, I had a bit of trauma with the birth of my little girl - although nothing like yours - but I do know that feeling of being in a blur. I will be praying for you over the coming weeks - esp that you will be able to rest. I pray for good friends to care for you long after the initial fuss has died down. And for Emma to be patient for her mummy to get back to normal. Thinking of you and praying for you,
much love
Miz MellyMiz Mellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06294117022058463738noreply@blogger.com
